Good price for the car i bought. Sales rep was knowledgeable, however felt rushed at the end, when I asked before signing the paper work if there was 2 keys the guy said that they usaully keep the 2nd key with the binder upstairs. When we shook hands i asked about the other key again and he disregaurded me and said no there wasnt a second key.

So I bought a 2020 F150 Ford raptor from Mcguire’s dealership. The sales person Gary told me the truck was ready. I offered to pay half they still told me No I gave him $1000 down and a beautiful red F150 pick up truck four-wheel-drive sport I have to pay out-of-pocket with a dealership up by me where I live in Ogdensburg, New York. I highly recommend not to buy a vehicle from McGuire Jeep Chrysler Syracuse, New York very very unprofessional. Nobody wanted to help me. Nobody wanted to talk to me and finally the GM Mrs. called me and she said we are not going to help you.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 they did offer me an extended warranty. It was like 200 and some odd dollars more but I said after the warranty is over and nothing has happened to the truck. Do I still keep that Payment going and she said yes well I said no I don’t want the extended warranty because of that I’ve made two payments on this truck. and now I’ve gotta miss work. I gotta figure out a way to get my trailers to where they gotta be. I got explained to my customers why I’m not there.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 they have no excuse so whatever the response is to this there is no excuse I offered to pay half to get my truck fixed

This review is about the people that got me into a truck and not about the vehicle itself. John Burgess and Brian Benford are the two that made it happen. Brian has to be one the best in his field. I was ready to essentially destroy my family suv for work when he managed to pull what I consider an uno reverse card on me. After I had told him I wasn’t going to go forward with the truck he showed me the KBB/NADA value and very politely told me that he wouldn’t bother me if I truly was not interested but wanted me to see that the vehicle in question was booked far far less than it was worth due to some cosmetic issues and the truck had the value to eat the negative equity from my car. All in all he did it wonderfully. This is far from my first experience with a dealership and I am aware of how things can work. John worked synchronously with Brian to sweeten the deal and fix things I found important on the vehicle. They showed me the value of not just choosing them but also the reason to get this truck. And after a long weekend with the truck and 600 miles, I feel pretty good about things. The entire team was friendly, on the day of pickup Brian was helping another individual and I stood around chatting with other associates and it was just an awesome experience. Maguire in my experience has always been friendly and do right by their customers and I’m sure there are those that feel that is not the case. But I had a good experience with the people, I separate them from the product since they are there to show us value in the product they sell, they don’t manufacture the product nor do they personally fix it. Keep this in mind whenever you are looking to get a vehicle or need one repaired. To add to this, this is a business that exists for profit, not the goodness of their hearts. That doesn’t mean they are evil or out to get you, it just means that no matter what’s happening they want to be friendly and respectful but they can’t just hand out goods and services as they got bills to pay like the rest of us. Worked with Brian on a 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn. Between speaking over the phone for initial conversations and on property through entire process, I felt comfortable and at ease purchasing the truck. I put my best foot forward negotiating a deal that ChatGPT told me to follow, but knew that Brian was giving me a good deal for my trade in and the 2025 Ram I drove off the lot. Took my vehicle in for a “courtesy inspection/post purchase inspection” everything was good on the car other then the concern I mentioned of washer fluid not spraying on windshield but leaking out under hood insulation. Was quoted $591.xx for new line and nozzles(sprayers) installed. I checked rockauto ordered the line and nozzles for $77.23 took the hood insulation off to replace everything and all I essentially needed was the nozzles the line was fine. Replaced nozzles and works great. So be careful with them trying to upsell extra parts you may truly not need.

I called the sales department, and got “Joe” the “manager” who started by basically responding to my question about a car and if it was for sale in the manner of “we don’t sell to out of state customers”. I asked why a New York located dealership wouldn’t sell to a someone in Massachusetts… quite confused… Somewhat begrudgingly, Joe explained that he might entertain selling to a Massachusetts buyer, and asked if I was a private buyer. He then tried to apologize that he meant only to “screen” out buyers who are other dealers or brokers from “buying their cars at their very low low internet prices” tax free and then turn around and sell it for a profit, and it isn’t something they appreciate. With that out of the way, he looked up the car, confirmed it was in stock, and that a dealership employee would text me photos within the next 5-10 minutes. Then proceeded to say how they could do most of the transaction remotely, sending details and financing and whatnot before I drove there. Which sounded lovely….. It’s been four hours. No phone call. No text. No contact apologizing that they got busy. They only ever got my phone call, because I am watching for a particular make & model & features combination, and I don’t know if I will be interested enough to keep trying with a dealership who presumes the worst in people and doesn’t have the follow through to actually live up to its own managers word. Perhaps Monday will tell a different story, this review is subject to change if they resolve the issue and apologize. [ Edit - 4 weeks later ] Called back the Manager at their request. Explained my situation, and they listened intently. Issue 1: The rude attitude and the presumption that I was a broker/dealer was apologized for, and manager agreed that this wasn't good enough. Issue 2: The failure to contact; while the manager confirmed that I didn't hear or recall the name of the employee correctly, they took responsibility for the team failing to contact me back, and explained that the car in question was undergoing work off their dealership lot, and thus it has been assumed that the person handed the task likely didn't know what to do about contacting me, so they never contacted me back. Manager has been diligent about contacting me back, and we've discussed that car further. Unknown whether or not we'll do business at this location at this stage, but I'd say that the business deserves a better rating because at least the Management cared enough to explain and to listen, which isn't common these days.

We had been dreading replacing our 2016 Mazda CX-5, especially since it was the vehicle we brought both of our children home in when they were born. It meant a lot to our family, so finding the right replacement felt impossible. We ended up having an excellent experience at Maguire near the mall working with Chris Jones. My husband is someone who hates making large purchases and tends to research everything endlessly before making a decision, so I knew this process could be stressful. We had an amazing experience at Maguire Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Syracuse, and I especially want to recognize Chris Jones for the exceptional service he provided during our recent vehicle purchase. We were referred to Chris by a friend from work, and from the very beginning it was obvious why. I had initially found a low-mileage Ford SUV on their online inventory that seemed like the perfect fit. Chris immediately began the process of getting the vehicle transferred to his Hiawatha Blvd location for us to view. However, while reviewing the CarFax report, he noticed something in the vehicle history that raised concerns. Instead of minimizing the issue or pressuring us to move forward anyway, he was upfront and honest about it, that meant a lot to us. Rather than trying to force a sale, Chris kept our appointment and focused on helping us find the right vehicle for our family. When we arrived, I honestly had no clear idea of what I wanted—only a long list of things I didn’t want. Chris was patient, professional, and never pushy while I worked through all of my questions and indecision. Thanks to his help, we ended up finding the perfect vehicle: a 2022 Subaru Forester with low miles and in absolutely pristine condition. I usually dislike making large purchases and tend to second-guess every decision, especially when it comes to spending money. Chris handled all of my repeated questions and concerns with patience and clarity. He also worked hard to help us secure a payment that fit our budget. At no point did I feel like I was dealing with someone chasing a quota or trying to pressure us. Instead, it felt like working with someone who genuinely wanted to help my family make the best choice for us. We’ve now purchased the vehicle, and my wife and kids are thrilled—especially the kids, who love the sunroof. I hope Chris is still there many years from now, because when it’s time for our next vehicle purchase, I’d be happy to work with him again.

Came in after seeing a Chevy Equinox for sale...the sales person, Brian Benford, was not only respectful but extremely knowledgeable about the history of the car but honest about Maguire's standing behind their autos. Having dealt several years ago in regards to my 2009 Jeep Compass, they were very upfront with me in the past. As a woman, this is extremely important to me! They get an "A+" rating overall from this buyer!

Hands down best dealership I have ever been to . TK & the managers are great to deal with & welcoming. I saw a Jeep I liked “ wasn’t even planning on getting a new car that day & the whole process took about 30 minutes.
